How do i clear the check engine light

You can disconnect the battery wait 10 seconds then reconnect the check engine light will be off, but if there is a problem 2 cause the light 2 be on it will come back on, In this case you must get the problem resolved.

Sometimes my car won't start, the security light blinks i wait ten minutes try again, then it starts. How can i fix this without the dealerships help?

Is it cold when this is happening? If so it is your ignition switch. Common problem with ions yet no recall. Just have to get it replaced and its costly too, around 400$. I have had mine replaced twice in 3 years and with a new one i have still had some times it wont start on VERY cold days

Is replacing the center support bearing on my 2004 saturn vue an urgent issue? can it wait if it isn't making noise?

Well it depends how bad it is,,,,,I have seen ones totally destroyed and ready to snap the u joint in half and they didnt make a noise. Go under the car and at the center support bearing grab the driveshatf and push it up and down,,if its firm your ok, if it has alot of up and down and bangs around you need to replace it asap,,,most likely is not that bad,I have done about 50 of them and only about 4 were that bad....hope this helps
