Start with battery - try your horn - does it sound ok? If not, likely a battery dead.

If not, then look to the starter or solenoid for starter.

If battery, make sure you have the charging system checked as well.

Sounds like a weak solenoid on the starter. Probably needs starter replacement. Those cars need a mechanic to work on them.

Hey,

You can try another battery if you have one, or take the battery to be tested somewhere to see if its at fault

Clicking noise, but electric comes on

I'm guessing that you hear the clicking noise when you try to start it and it doesn't start? A repeated clicking noise is a good sign that the battery is to weak to turn the engine over. If you can get it to start with a jump start than you just confirmed the battery was dead.

Clicking noise when trying to start

Check the battery. 99% of the time it is just a weak or bad battery. It could be a bad connection...ie battery cable, solenoid connection, ground, etc., The clicking noise you hear is the solenoid engaging and disengaging due to not enough current to hold the contacts together.

Knocking noise. Will not start. Clicking noise when I try to start it now.

Sounds like a spun bearing in the engine. The clicking is probably from the battery run down too low from trying to repeatedly start it.

It is your battery it may not be completly dead but it is too dead to run the starter. It take 300 -600 amp to run a starter and 20 amp to run a stereo

Clicking noise when trying to start car, battery is ok, wont start

That Clicking is the Battery causing it not to Start. You need to Replace that Battery or at Least put a Charger on it for a Couple of hours to see if you can Salvage it for a While.
