Why do all lights work except low beam driver side head lamp?

Seems like if your other low beam is lit, there's something wrong with the new bulb. Make sure it's the exact type needed, and switch the working bulb from the pass. side to drivers side to check.

My headlighs are very dim - 2003 venture

So your dropping battery or alternator voltage before
it gets to the lights

Why is your mission

A dirty or loose ground, thus incomplete circuit

Something in the circuit before the head lights?

You need to unplug one lamp & put your volt meter to
the 12v feed to that lamp & turn them on

If you "don't "drop battery voltage there at the end of the line ,
then you need a wiring diagram to work your way back to
the offender.

So,lack of ground or resistance in the form of bleeding off
volts before the lamps, that should get full battery supply

Villager 2002 driver side headlights are sporadic

Normally the head lamp relays are placed within the dash and as close as possible to the headdlights as the high ampere required means that the wires must also be of short length to reduce loss or it might need large core wires.
So check the main relay box here within the engine room and use a multimeter to see if the cluster switch triggeres the relay.

each headlight on those vehicles has its own fuse (if im remembering correctly), check the fuse panel under the hood, there should be fuses labeled for lh and rh high and low beam lights.

I need to change the driver side head lamp bulb I have have never done this before

Hello, this is a easy fix. Grab the black connector with one hand and hold the black rubber part in the middle near the connection. Pull gently on the connector while holding the rubber part near the middle, your goin to feel the headligh kinda move as you pull. Its probable going to be a little hard to get off, gently wiggle the connector and pull while holding. Once the connector comes off remove the rubber boot, now you will see a small bar push down (or up) on it to release it from the lock position. The headlight will come right out, not the position of the connectors when removing the light bulb, replacement light will only go in one way. Hope this is helpful.

No low beam head lights

If you just want to replace the bulb yourself, this is a good website.
http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Nissan-Altima-Headlight-Bulb/Nissan-Altima-Passenger-Side-Headlight.htm
If the website does't get your headlight fixed... You might have a blown fuse. It could be in the IPDM E/R location under the hood. This is next to the coolant bottle. Remove the coolant bottle with two screws and lift the cover to the IPDM E/R. Just set the coolant bottle aside for now. The low beam fuses are 49 and 50. They are 15A fuses. To be more precise, they are located on row 2, columns 2 and 3 (column 1 being closest to the fender of the car). Hope this helps.
