Question about 1999 Saturn SL
I have a 1999 Saturn SL and when I am driving the temp is fine, but if I come to a stop the car gets hot. I may only be stopped to go through a drive-thru and it will get hot during that time. Also when I am driving the temp gauge is further over to the left then it normally has been. It is either too hot, or too not. Please help with what I should do. Thank you
Check your electric cooling fan is cutting in when stationary. Air flowing through your radiator whilst driving keeps your engine cool. There is no airflow when stationary, so cooling fan is used to compensate, sounds like yours isnt working.
