Cjk your charging sysrem at the battery. The alternator should ce charging in this range. 13,6v to `4,2v. Remove and clean the negative battery connection, Whether it's a post or side terminal, remove and clean Your headlights created a deman, A loose or bad connection created the load and the alternatied to meet the demand taking out a bulb and overheating said wires. Headlights are yor second highest losd in a vehicle. All witing and connections must be tight and clean. Look closely at the battery grd. You want to find what in specific caused it. Good Luck_Ned_

El fairmont ghia - got park lights but no head lights or high beam, trying to locate which fuse if it is a fuse??

there is a fuse for each function and sometimes right and left as well so could be 4 fuses in total depending on who wired it , might still be the bulbs so u should get a piece or wire , put bulb to battery on eart side using outter ring of bulb , that ll earth it then put wire to positive and the little connection on the bottom of the bulb , if its lights ur sure its not the bulb . if fuses and bulbs turn out to be ok . next thing to look for is a bad earth on the lamp itself but seeing as u have park lights its getting some kind of and earth , it might also be the switch itself and finally it might be a broke wire which entails the most work cos u ve to trace back , its very unlikely that it is the relay unless someone put spot lights on it and burnt the relay out .

2004 chevrolet classic 2.2l won't start, maybe have a short circuit on positive wire, circuit, because make nothing no radio no lights inside and outside I check battery is ok fuses is ok, looks st

If you have positive battery cable that is shorted, fix it. A dead short to ground should smoke it or get very hot. Check ground, also.
Use a test lite, ignition bat fuse 1 and 2, underhood fuse block, Should be hot all the time. Voltage and ground, both, are important.

Driver's side high beam on my 2001 Saab CV won't work. Passenger side is okay. This was an intermittent problem for a while, and now has gone permanent. I've replaced the bulb. I've...

No, you haven't missed anything I can think of, but the fact that it was intermittent, then permanent tells me that somewhere therein lies the answer. I admittedly don't know anything at all about "the orange light control relay", but it seems that if that's the problem it would probably affect both sides. Sorry I can't be more help. . .

I have a 2003 gmc Sierra none of my brakelights are working I have replaced the brakelight switch and checked all fuses still nothing looked for burnt or raw wires there are none what else could it be

have you checked for a box under the hood on the drivers side, consisting of relays and fuses. i would check for a brake light relay switch, or brake light fuse, hope that this information has been helpful to you.

Interior cooling fan does not turn on

Yes, it could be a fan relay, but more likely it is a motor that burnt out.
They seem to burn out in equal frequency, because in my experience it one or the other or even both that should be replaced at servicing time.

Good luck with this repair.

2002 chevy truck headlight problem (no lights) replaced turn signal cluster. Found burnt wire here. check relay it is ok? Where do I go from here.

If burnt wire is present then there is most likely more undescoverd burns. Make sure your fuse is ok and trace the burnt wire there may be some still needing to be changed out.
