There is a "blinker" module under the dash, driver's side. Looks like a small tin can. Pull straight out of the socket and reploace.

What would cause flasher fuse slot to not have power on 1996 buick regal?

If It is not blinking then it's probably a blown bulb, That's how cars tell you a turn signal is bad. You will only have power to fuse slot when turn signal is on and the blinking part runs through a flasher relay so you could have a bad flasher relay if the bulbs are all good.

fuses good? turn signals come on but won't blink? check blinker switch under dash at fuse panel, it will be a round push incylider next to fuse panel, with signals on put your finger on round cylinder, if you don't feel it click, it's bad.also if not that check for a blown bulb in turn signals. hope this helps!!

Trun signal wont work

First check the turn signal fuses. The turn signal fuse is fuse number 8 in fuse box.If the fuse checks out ok then the next thing to check would be the Turn Signal Flasher Unit. Power flows from the fuse to the flasher and then to the T/S switch. You should have power to the dark blue wire at the flasher. If you do then check for power at the purple wire at the T/S switch connector. If you have power there, then you have a bad switch. If not, then you have a bad T/S flasher unit or an open in the power side of the circuit.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

The right rear turn signal blinks quickly in a

I believe this car has a rear bulb that has two fillaments, one for side lights the other shared for braking and flash. sounds like a blown bulb or a bad ground connection. Check the bulb and the bulb holder and ground connection.
Turn signal blinking quickly generally indicates a blown bulb front or rear or bad connection.

Turn signal problems

Turn signals have a relay (its a small switch that charges and discharges current) which controls your turn signals blinking speed and interval. This is most likely your problem. You should be able to get a new one at your local parts store. Follow these instructions, in this order, and let me know how it works.

Step 1:Turn on the hazard lights and walk around the Taurus checking that all four turn signal lights are working. If any of them are not working, replace the bulbs. A non-working bulb in any of the turn signals will often make the turn signals appear that a flasher is going bad.

Step 2:
Locate the fuse box and check the fuses for the turn signals. There may be more than one. Replace any fuses that are blown and then recheck the turn signals again. If they still aren't working properly, then move on to replace the flasher. Step 3: Look for a round, silver-colored object near the fuse box. Put your finger on the object and turn on the turn signal. You should be able to feel a mechanical clicking as the turn signal blinks. This is the flasher. Step 4: Pull the silver flasher out of the socket and replace it with the new one. Each of the flashers should have two pins sticking out of the bottom side. Start the Taurus and recheck the turn signals to ensure that they work. Joel
