the keyless entry remote needs programming by dealer who has daewoo scan 100 tool or GM dealer with Tech2 need code from owners book if not code is on compliance plate last 5 digits in 6 digit DSN number bottom right corner.
these vehicles had a zylux immobiliser fitted at point of entry to Australia others had after market system fitted they didnt actuall build them with these features.you need to go to a dealer to repair or program new remote, have you got a second key remote? this one might still work
Not to discourage you but a Daewoo is a bad choice. They aren't made anymore and parts are very hard to find. It might take a while to find a new remote but if you have anything else go wrong, it will be even harder to find parts in a couple of years. It's hard to get dealer item parts when no dealers exist. However if you do find a replacement remote, I can likely give you the program procedure. Good luck

As suggested above, change the battery. Then, open the car with the key, turn the ignition all the way to ON (all lights on the dashboard showing), and back to OFF. Now press either of the buttons on your remote, and keep it depressed until the hazards flash. That should cure the problem.
