Question about 1996 Ford Thunderbird LX
I have a 1996 ford thunder bird lx an i locked the doors, battery is dead, and wanted to know if it had to be charged before i can unlock it because my key want
The electric locks will have to have some charge in the battery before they will work. Even if you have a keypad entry system, you need some power. Can you connect cable to battery positive from below car? Or is hood open? If you can connect from underneath car, go to positive terminal on battery, and ground anywhere on the frame, then try your remote entry. And, where's your door key? Take a lock out, and have the local dealership cut you one. It was only $ 5.00. I just had one made.
