All lights have been flickering mildly under acceleration. This evening the speedo stopped working and the tranny seems to only have first gear.

the VSS and TCM control your problem
could be wiring failure or harness connections near the transmission

My Pedometer is not showing the speed accurately --If I am traveling 35 it registers 50mph and 65 it register 110 MPH

Sounds like the speedometer might be reading in kilometers per hour. Just my guess on this one though.

Speedometer does not regiser until 20 mph and will not register above 50.

the best thing to do is to replace the speed sensor. you'll find it on top of the rear differental with 2 wires coming out of it. most likley its sticking. really the only other thing it could be is the gage itself witch will come as a complete unit.

Speedometer problem

your speedometer may be streached. or twisted. if this happens you will take the chance on breaking it. i would suggest you replace it.
