It just stopped. Waited a while and started again after I drove awhile, it stopped again. When I tried to restart it, it made a clicking sound.

Sounds like you have moisture getting into your ignition somewhere. Have your mechanic look at it again but have him water down engine compartment, little at a time.

Sounds like the starter. If you can locate it,tap on it with a hammer 3 or 4 times and try to restart. It may take several tries but should eventually start because starters don't quite fail 100%,they just kind of get stuck. If you can't find the starter, call a couple of parts stores or a dealer, someone is always willing to tell you for free to attract your business. It should work and you need a new starter.I put in a used one a couple of years ago and no problems yet,but the decision is yours.Good luck! I dont remember the name for it.VATS I think it's called,it a security item inside your steering wheel the little wire breaks and the system looses it's sense to know what's going on.The car thinks you are in drive mode.

Anti theft related-car was jumped ran fine but won't restart after turning ignition-waited awhile it started but quickly died again and now won't start at all-tries to turn over but doesn't complete

What ever the matter was with it that it needed a jump start is probably the reason it started and died and now wont start. This doesnt sound like an anti-theft problem.

Honda is notorius for bad MAIN RELAYS the solder in them crack and can not be seen with the nacked eye. This is due to simple expansion & contraction the solder heats up & cools down. Try that.
