Samething just different a little

Okay when i turn on my car, my indoor fuse blows and my throttle cable gets SUPER hot when i put a 30amp in there. if i rub the throttle cable against the air intake, it SPARKS!!! do you think its the same problem as this? what could fix this? im sooo worried about this. like non of my lights come on in the car, my beeping sounds in the car dont work (like for seatbelts), radio doesnt come on at all. Whats the problem? it randomly started to do this after i replaced the door handle on my car, and i changed the EGR valve under the hood.. please help!

I found the exact fuse, its the 10A fuse under the hood that powers the inside lights and radio (but the radio has its own fuse, so this one allows the radio to work) so my firewall is hot.. ive tried lots of different things. i just cant find what is making the throttle cable hot like that. could there realy be something in the door that is cause this? even thou i unplugged everything in the door? i just dont understand what could be doing this so randomly... I'm not sure what i'm looking for. when i use a 30 fuse it makes the throttle wire start to smoke and spark. I dont know what i could have messed with that is around the EGR valve..

Hi just pass-in and read your problem

Would recommend checking the earth strap from battery -ve to chassis sounds like its very poor drawing a earth from were ever it can get it. Also check and make shiney any other straps from gearbox or engine to chassis reminds me of the good old minis boy did they glow if you forgot to refix the earth strap.

Retrace your work. It is obvious you have 12 volts or so going where it is not suppose too. This is interesting and you gave lots of detail. I could use lot more if you get closer to the problem. Pull out every fuse, one at a time. check the sparking but do it with a volt meter pos to cable blk to ground or batt grd. Put them back and continue one at a time till you find the circuit that stops the sparks as you say. Then you found the circuit that is short to ground. In this case only when you do your cable thing. Then you have to work that one circuit to fix. Iam going to guess because Iam not there to help you the door handle has a roll in this or wiring you may have disturbed. You have a short or hot wire powering up something and the cable is your ground but no load for a voltage drop ,so you get 12volt and sparks. NOT GOOD

make sure the cables are both good if they have a spot that feels flimsy the wires inside are likely corroded and the current is not running through it properly. a simple charging system check would be recommended.

I have a 1996 chevy chyenne 305 vortec 4x4 and my ECM fuse keeps blowing. After the first time it blew I replaced it the truck started, ran for 10min and died, the second time I did put a 30amp fuse in...

start chasing wires. Sounds like something is shorted or worse, a hot wire may be grounded out.
Good place to start is all wires headed to the started as that is a common place for a power wire to melt against hot exhaust.
(that was the case for my 99 chevy)
Check all other fuses and make sure none are blown.

Voltage regulator fuse keeps blowing on my 98 ford explorer

Well I looked at the wiring diagram and I did not see a 30amp fuse.
There is a 15amp, a 7.5 amp, and the two fuseable links between the battery and the alternator. Thats not to say a 30amp fuse for the charging system does not exist, but its not in the standard diagram.
Do you have battery power on the large alternator post when the key switch is off ? And do you have power on the lite green and red wire when the key switch is on ?

30 amp Starter/Ignition fuse keeps blowing when i turn the ignition key. The instrumentpanel lights are dim and then the fuse blows.

I am assuming you are talking about the circuit that powers the key switch. I'm showing a fuseable link to the starter relay instead of a fuse.
If it is the circuit that powers the switch, I would disconnect the switch and see if the fuse blows as each circuit is powered one at a time using a jumper wire. You can get 30amp circuit breakers that plug into the fuse slot to use while you are testing circuits.
You may need a repair book or shop manual to find out what is powered by that fuse since it is most everything on the car.

30amp AM 2 fuse blows as soon you turn on the key & car will not start

This is common about this time on these Camrys. I own three. The AM2 fuse is blowing because a coil, capacitor, or supressor has gone bad in the distributor. To test this disconnect the two wire connectors to the distributor. Replace the AM2 fuse. Turn the ignition. If the fuse doesn't blow. The distributor.

99 ford contour A/C fuse burnt in socket...need to find the 2 wires to bypass with inline fuse, driver side fuse panel? help?

Somthing doesnt sound right here, someone must of installed a bigger fuse than whats called for, i would have the system checked to see why its drawing so much amperage, you will need to remove the fusebox and chase that wire, you want the ac side of the wire not the hot side, if you are reusing the power wire then okay chase them both, but you will need to chase them into box, use an ohm meter with a continuty test on it to locate the right wires, okay i just found a wiring diagram, the fuse is on the driverside fuse box , okay the wire you are looking for is violet/purple and this is for fuse location #37 which holds a 30amp fuse, the other wire is a power wire and should be red, note there are a lot of hot red wire so try to use the same one by chasing it.

My 2003 jeep liberty blows super cold air then hot

WELL, IF YOU LOOK UNDER THE HOOD IN THE FUSE PANEL (BLACK RECTANGULAR BOX) YOU WILL SEE WHAT APPEARS TO BE LITTLE BLACK CUBES NEXT TO THE FUSES. THOSE ARE THE RELAYS. FIND THE ONE THAT IS FOR THE A/C. ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FUSE/RELAY COVER IS A DIAGRAM. P.S. MAKE SURE THAT THE A/C FAN FUSE ANMD RELAY ARE ALSO WORKING. IF THE FAN DOESN'T WORK THEN THE A/C WILL GET WARM LIKE YOU DESCRIBED. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.PLEASE LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA
