Question about 2007 Dodge Durango Night Runner New Cars
Can you tell me what might cause a squeeling noise in one wheel on a 2007 Dodge Durango? I had it looked at by a Dodge mechanic and he couldn't find out what was causing it.
It doesn't do it all of the time and when it does it, it's usually when I'm driving at a slower speed. It's usually when I've been driving about 55 or higher and then slow down to 40 or below. Doesn't make the noise when the brakes are applied.
If its a lite squeel and goes away when brakes are applied. Have you had front brakes put on recently. If you have and the rotors were not replaced and turned. Alot of mechanics don't do the final cross hatching on the rotors when they are done turning. This will barke in the pads wrong and cause this even with expensive pads. It will cause premature glazing and have a squeel that will drive you crazy.
