My 2004 dodge ram 1500 right headlight doesn 't work. the bulb has been replaced with a new bulb. What should I look for next?

This happened to mine people told me could be anything from plug, switch to fcm, turns out what it was was poor connections at fcm(front control module). Easy fix, remove fcm and headlight wire plug to fcm, clean contacts with nail file, reinstall. Worked for me, hope it helps.

Have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 i have high beams but no low beams why?

on rare occasions I have seen both low beams burn out I would buy one new bulb and replace either one in the truck if the low beam works with the new bulb then replace the other one as well if the low beam still does not work then replace the headlight switch also check to see if the headlight switch recall was done on that particular truck or if it was under that recall, they had a problem with some of the ram trucks burning up headlight switches but I would check to see if yours might have been one of them there is a wiring upgrade that they will put in at the headlight switch that will cure that, like I said though check to be sure first yours might have not been one of them.

Low beam headlights do not work ..replaced switch and high beam bulb

try the lights with the tilt wheel in the up position. If the low beam works then, a wire has pulled out of the connector on the mutipurpose switch inside the steering column. remove the covers behind the steering wheel on the column and there is a large multi wire plug with many wires. it should be obvious which wire has pulled out or broken.

97 dodge ram 1500, headlights went out. one low beam went out and a friend had a bulb that fit... but now they are both out.so i pulled the swith and the plug has two prongs that melted slightly. i've...

You may want to check out the wiring to be sure that there is no short that may have caused the melting. Check also the number of Watts the bulb has vs the specified for your truck. Other than that you may have to check the condition of the relay. A ceramic socket for the lights may also prevent this from happening again.

Problem with Replacement Headlights

Sounds like you need to contact the people whom you got them from and see what they say. Sometimes those weird euro headlights don't function correctly. You have the same plug, but now you have 2 bulbs instead of 1 drawing juice from the same source. When you double the load, but keep the source the same, you will have problems.

Low beam lights will not turn on

did you pull out the bulb and check it? it is possible that moisture got inside the connection b/w bulb and connecting plug/harness. which it is possible that moisture fouled the low beam circuit and not affect the high beam. (this happened to me) inspect for signs of moisture in the headlight lens and around the wiring. purchase new bulb, install new bulb turn on lights
