Turned on my 06 trailblazer to find that no air hot or cold is coming from vents

verify the clutch operation of the AC comopressor first

The thermostat only controls how hot the engine gets.
It could be the blower motor, or a blend door under the dash.
You would need to check the blower motor for power and ground, if it is running a door may be stuck closed.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and vents.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

NO HEAT ON FLOOR VENTS

The problem is either an actuator or the door associated with it. Sometimes the gear strips, especially when the system goes thru a recalibrate after power has been removed and reapplied. Below is a diagram of the locations of the actuators.

I have changed the resistor 2 times for the same problem. Its under the hood behind the fan motor insulation.
Mine burned because of fan motor frozen & stuck in the winter. Solution is to let the engine warm up before turning the fan on.

Just fixed this problem on my '06 Sentra. The AC lines were freezing cold so I figured the system was cooling with no problems but the cold air wasn't getting to the cabin for some reason. I put a snake camera in through the vent behind and to the left of the glove box(you have to remove all of the panels) and saw that the cable that gets pulled/released when you turn the hot/cold knob had broken off from the retaining clip. This caused the whole line to move when the knob turned meaning that the cable wasn't actually being pulled in when turning the knob to cold. I pulled the center dash and CD player out and the cable was right there so I secured it in place with a zip tie. Everything works like new now.

vent your vent port one your port may be block or you temperature sensor giving trouble

Temperature imbalance is usually the first sign of low freon charge. Have that checked first.

put some frion in and change out the antifreeze
