Question about 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
To the right of the battery there is a red box next to the fuse box, if you take that cap off there is a post and thats where the positive lead is going to go, then just ground it to the motor mounts

this happens to me on occasions and i checked the battery ground and cleaned it made sure it was making a good connection and it hasnt happened since, this may not be your problem but its worth a look see
