You need to have the dealer look at this, if you fool around with it you can void your warranty. Toyota looks for any legal excuse to void the warranty.

Is there any way to get heat faster in the morning? Even if I start the car and run it for a few minutes, I have to drive it a few miles to get any heat out of it.

have the thermostat checked and make sure the heater core is flowing. it may have a problem, or just be normal? is the temp gauge reading normal temp, or colder than it used too.

That my be but the first thing to check is the fuse for the cooling fans, when the compressor turns on the fans should be running, if not then check the fuses in the engine compartment.

If the engine is not over heating then it is doing its job. The constant cycling is based on the temp of the air traveling through the radiator and the a/c condenser not the outside temp so much. The start up high rev is just how these clutches work in ford fans. It sounds like it is operating correctly.

Egr valve dodge durango

if this is a 4.7l engine, the valve is on the left rear of the intake. loosen the 8mm bolts that hold the egr intake tube to the egr valve, remove the egr bolts, disconnect wiring, remove valve and tube together, attach intake tube loosely to new valve, install new valve, tighten tube bolts to egr using a swivel socket, this is not a 5 minute job, so dont attempt unless you have some time and patience.
