Question about 1995 Nissan Maxima
Insert the key in the ignition and turn to on for 5 minutes, that should allow u to start the car, if that doesn't work u will need to have the security system tested by Nissan as there may be a problem with the security module recognizing your key, this may require reprogramming the system.

Have you tried to unlock the doors with the key? the factory alarm my be disabling it. try to lock and then unlock each door and trunk individually.
do you know what kind of alarm you have? do you know where the valet switch is? try those thing nd let me know what happens
