First it is a 2002. If the noise happens at start up it could be lifters(tapping) or crank shaft rod bearings(knocking). Both are expensive to fix at a garage. More than the car is worth. My advice is to keep check on the oil. Start saving for another car.

Rattleting noise seems to be the crankcase rear chain V6.Cyl 4.0 ford exp XLT 2002

Make sure the oil level is good. The hydraulic tensioners for the chain work with the engine's oil. If low it will make a rattling/knocking like noise.

Knocking at oil pan when idling

sounds like lower engine damage, could be a bearing or low oil pressure but if knocking the damage is done. i would have a tech just double check it to make sure, i have seen flywheels make noise and pulleys and a/c compressors, so just make sure it is in the oil pan if so then engine will need repair.

My 2001 ford focus is making a clocking noise.

Te first thing to do is to locate the noise source. You can do it with a long screw driver touching the tip on the engine and the holder at your ear. A needle stethoscope can do the job better. The noise might be a overhead cam tick, crank shaft knock, bad bearing or anything else.Hope this will help to narrow the problem.

With the temp set at 90 degrees its still blows

Noise from rear of car has no relation to no heat. Check the coolant level. I'd guess it's low. If it's full, the thermostat is not working.

Being modified focus, the chances are you may have thrown the rod. You can tell when the rod is knocking, or could be bad valves tapping. any mechanic can listen to it and tell you what exactly what making that noise, don't recommend driving that car with a bad valves or rod knocking. on most any modified engine, its common to throw a rod or blow the pistons.
