Where is the air idle valve located on a 93 ford f150 5.0

On the throttle body. Two sensors on it. One is the TPS, directly across from the throttle cables. The other is the idle air control motor. The IAC motor has 4 wires going to it.

Where is the Throttle Position Sensor location on a Ford f150 V6 4.2L engine?

It's on the side of the throttle body has an electrical plug probably with about 5 wires going to it. The Idle air control is next to it with probably two wires going to it. If you google it you'll probably find a picture of it somewhere online.

How to raise the idle 100 rpm on ford f150 5.4

have your idle air control motor cleaned. there are no idle adjustments on this engine. typically the idle air control valve becomes gummed up with carbon. while cleaning the valve you may also want to clean the mass air flow sensor. you will need special cleaners for both which can be purchased at any auto parts store.

My rpms are jumping up and down and it stalls out when i stop sometimes i need to locate the iac on my 4.6 liter 2005 ford f150

Its the little black, plastic sensor on the left of the throttle. Ford and Mopar do not use an IAC to control the idle, but rather a MAF and Throttle Position Sensor or TPS.

My truck has irregular idle when I stop when temperature is cold outside. Truck also tries to lunge foward. These problems stop when I put truck in park or neutral

you may have a bad idle control sensor,or the idle control sensor may only beginning to go bad.have you maybe bought some bad fuel?you may need to add some lucas fuel injector cleaner to your fuel to clean dirty fuel injectors. clear rubbing alcohol added to any suspected bad fuel will dry the water up in your gas tank also.just add CLEAR rubbing alcohol into your gas tank.if the idle control sensor is bad,the truck will try to die when stopping at red light,or when braking will be constantly restarting it because of dying will have to be the judge in this intance, bad fuel recently? or bad idle control sensor? have given you 2 solutions to diagnose. hope this helps and thank you for choosing

IDLE May be too Low

you could have a faulty Tps(throttle position sensor) this is located on the throttle body and has either a 4 wire plug or a 2 wire plug. I'm willing to bet that you need to replace this. the tps is responsible for your idle setting via the ecm(engine control moduel)...please rate this
