Question about 1990 Ford Escort
.....additionaly, lights on instrument panel surge when I try to start. Driving back from beach yesterday the instrument cluster went completely dead, and the left turn signal got stuck on. I am also getting an OBD2 code: p2106....
Can anyone help,
Yes Get to a good shop or dealer with a scan tool and have the code issues repaired first. Never leave any vehicle with a shop that has no interest in going on a road test for free FIRST. Be prepared to pay diagnostic fees and only after you hear the possible problems do you authorize them to proceed. Go there and have them prove to you all they tell you on the phone. Hard to do with a dealer. They should be able to print all scan results of your vehicle.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
