No spark at the coil replace all spark plug wire and coil wire but start with fuel pump first it wont start anyways without fuel id look into a new cap and rotar with the plug wires might get lucky and find a distributor at a wreckers for the same price as cap and rotar

I replaced cap rotar and dist. now it cranks over but will not fire and is back firing

the timing is off a bit! heres how I do it. remove the number 1 plug, stick a straw or similar in plug hole. turn engine over by the crank shaft with a wrench. when piston gets to very top of bore, just before it goes down. this is tdc. remove distributor cap and remove distributor reposition the distributor rotor button facing number 1 plug wire inside cap. replace cap and try it! please let me know if this works for you. good-day ! if you can not get to number 1 plug. just turn the crank to tdc marks are on damper pully or crank. is this a 5.7,

Need a wiring diagram for spark plugs for a 1995 jeep Cherokee sport

V6 engine: firing order: 1 2 3 4 5 6, distributor rotates clockwise. Left bank of engine (driver's side), cylinders 2, 4, 6 (#2 at front of engine). Right bank: 1, 3, 5 (#1 at front of engine).
Inline 6 engine: firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4. Distributor rotates clockwise.
The number one tower on the dist. cap should have a mark or numeral 1 on it. If not, turn crankshaft to top dead center of compression stroke on number one cylinder, the 0 degrees or "T" mark on the crank pulley pointer. If you are on the compression stroke (not the exhaust stroke), the rotor under the dist. cap will be pointing to the number one cylinder spark plug wire tower.

We have replaced fuel filter, coil, rotar & distributor cap and still it turns over but will not start

If you have a no spark condition, replace the crankshaft position sensor. Check for engine codes also by turning the ignition key on-off-on-off then leave it on and watch the check engine light blink/flash an engine code.

Replaced engine, engine will turn over but will not start. Not getting fire from the coil to the distributor or from the distributor to the spark plugs. What are some solutions?

first thing you need to check your sensor on top of your transmission make sure is connected to get signal to activate the fire
