Most of the time when this happens you can turn your ignition switch to on(don't crank) for 10 sec. then back to off then press both lock and unlock buttons on remote and hold them for ten sec. then turn switch back on for10 more sec. then off. it should work now. if not you will have to take to dealer to reprogram key fobs. trust me i know!!!!!

Battery in the remote died and now the alarm keeps going off when we try to do anything. we replaced the battery in the remote but the car won't start and the alarm keeps going on

When the alarm goes off, it disables the starter circuit. You'll want to have your key fob (remote) checked for proper operation at an authorized Hyundai Service Department. If you inserted the new battery in backwards, the remote will not work. It also needs to be the remote originally programmed for the vehicle.

Central locking not working on 2002 ford focus changed battery in fob cant find fuse 63

The key and car might need re-synchronising after changing the battery or pressing the buttons too many times when out of range.

Put the key in the ignition and turn the key to position 2 and back four times within 6 seconds.
After a beep the car is in programming mode for the next 10 seconds.
Press any button on the remote fob to synchronising.

anytime you disconnect the battery for the car or for the remotes you will have to reset the system,i am sorry, but thankfully we dont have the same alarm system in the U.K. so you will, have to check your manual...

05 FOCUS remote keyfob does not work even after new battery fitted, please help Allen

Have a look at this site as it identifies the different FORD keys and gives instructions on how to programme them

One solution that often works is a "reboot" ..disconnect the battery for 10 minutes , then replace.

Make sure you have the radio security keycode BEFORE you do this

4. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote.
