What are the torque specs for the manifold bolts for a 1991 ford ranger

for that engine, yes.
there was more than one engine size produced for that year, and there were 2 and 4 wheel drive models released.
this information is vital so you don't get the wrong information.

You can just google search "1991 ford ranger (insert engine size) manifold torque specs"

Also, are we talking about intake manifold or exhaust manifold?

I need to remove the exhaust manifold on the driver's side to access a freeze plug at the back of the block. Any special concerns for r&r of the manifold?

May not need to totally remove the manifold. Use a spray lub (I use Movit) and spray the exhaust bolts liberally on cooled down engine. Let sit for an hour or more (or follow instructions on can) Then use 6 point sockets on the bolts and rock back and forth to remove. Once all of the bolts are out you should be able the move the manifold back far enogh to expose the frost plug. When you put the exhaust back on - be sure and use anti-seaze on the bolts along with your new gaskets. Get all of the bolts started before you torque them to spec.

Where are the oxegyn sensor for a 99 ford ranger pick up

hi the easiest way to find them is follow the exhaust manifold from the engine, you should see what looks like a big extruding bolt with 2 wires on it, that is one of them, if you have the model with 2 of them, just look under the vehicle, look on the exhaust where the catolitic converter is, just past that you will see another of the same..these are your H02s sensors or heated oxygen sensors...hope that helps please vote thanks
