Look closely at the cover. You will see a small slot. Insert a small flat blade screwdriver, and pry it off. Very easy..

SOURCE: Need to replace timing belt
having them changed by a certified mechanic is your best bet,Timing belts are a wear item. Most are to be changed every 60,000 miles for preventive maintenance. They may break causing expensive damage to interference engines due to the collision of valves and pistons as they go out of sync.Having them replaced at intervals is the best way to save yourself from a very costly repair. The task of the timing belt

Yes, you have to remove the door panel.
Remove the 2 plastic protectors on the front edge, and remove the 2 brass colored screws. Next, remove the push pins from the latch side. Push in, and pull out the whole thing. Next, under the armrest, remove the screw. Lift up the power windoe control, being careful to not break the plastic retainer tab. Remove the screw under the window control. Starting at the bottom, pull out the panel, and, when all of the clips are loose, pull the panel straight up. It is best to do this with the door panel as warm as possible, like in a heated garage. Doing this outside in the cold will break all of the plastic retainer clips; they are quite brittle whn cold.
I hope this helps
