A likely factor is that an issue with your brake system is drawing power from the battery, I would suggest going into your local dealer to have them find out exactly whats wrong instead of wasting time and money on random fixes.

My 2004 Chevrolet cavalier right front headlight keeps blowing with a clicking noise under dash when I hit brakes unless headlights are on. What could be causing this to happen? thank you

Sounds like you have a electrical short in the brake light switch. Finding electrical issues can be a bit tricky but I would start with the under dash relay you hear clicking when you depress the brake pedal.

Brake light& battery light keeps coming on now car won't start

Anytime the battery light on the dash comes on is an indicator of the alternator not charging, resulting in a dead battery. Low voltage will cause other warning lights to come on as well. Replace the alternator and fully charge the battery before running the engine, to avoid full field condition with the new alternator ( overheating).

Rear liGHTS wONT turn off. battery is new but drains until dead. where do i look for short ?

Are these the brake lights? What would the fuses have to do with this problem, if a fuse blows it would extinguish the lights. If it is the brake lights then go under the dash and unplug the brake light switch above the brake pedal arm and see if they go out if so then the switch is the problem.

Cant get my 1993 nissan altima out of park

is your battery dead? turn your headlights on. do they work? if not, then the battery is dead. your car will not come out of park unless the brake lights come on. if the batterys dead, the brake lights will not come on. try a boost from another car. another solution, brake light fuse is blown.look under the dash or on driverside dash panel for fuse panel. look for a brake kight fuse that's blown. have you tryed applying the brake pedal with car off to see if the brake lights come on?hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

Battery keeps draining and brake lights stay on

the brake pedal switch is the most likely cause for your problem. This would keep the lights from going out and this would cause the battery to go dead.

Brake lights stay on. have to take out fuse so battery don't go dead.

Check the brake light switch, probably mounted under the dash above the brake pedal. It may be failed in the ON position.
