Have you tried another key?
You may have to change your ignition lock.....or switch.
The electrical switch is bolted to the back of the ignition lock.
You will have to remove the electrical switch part to check which one have failed and is jamming.

Undo the screws under the steering column which hold the plastic cover on.
Once this plastic is removed you can remove the switch from the back of the lock by removing two screws.
Do not undo the wiring to it...just drop it down off the lock.
Now try the lock with the key ....does it turn?
Try the switch....use a small screw driver....does it turn and start the car?
Which ever one is not turning is the one you need to replace.

Yeah, over time and use, the ignition key switch can jam or break. Take your car into a repair shop or dealership. They will diagnose and determine the problem, and help you decide the steps to take to fix your problem. I strongly recommend going to a dealership for most repairs and services, simply because they will fix your problem, take care of your car, and if they break something, they'll take full responsibility instead of pointing fingers until you say f#*& it!

Replace ignition key cylinder from 91 Honda accord

the ignition key cylinder comes as a single unit with the ignition lock assembly. if you want to use the same key as before take the entire lock assembly to a lock smith and they would be able to rekey the tumblers to match your old key.

91 honda accord won't start sometimes-battery, a/c, starter?

Your tempermental starting problem could be the park neutral safety switch . They get worn inside an cause this type problem . Next time it won't start place gear selector into neutral an see if it starts then . The cooling running problem is probably the cooling fan timer module . From the diagram it's hard to say which side the A/C condenser fan is on. The A/C fan has blue with yellow stripe wire in the connector along with a black one . I would also suggest you have a qualified repair shop do a voltage drop test on the starting circuit .
How to voltage drop test starter motor circuit

Starter Voltage Drop These test's will find any starting circuit problem .

Both keys won't turn igination on my 2006 Honda Accord.....what to do???

Try slightly turning your steering wheel while turning the key. ( Your wheel will be locked but should still be able to move a bit. Don't force the key too much or you could break it, and make things much worse. If that doesn't work your ignition may be defective.

The D flashes and will not start.

The D4 flashing is telling you that the computer believes something is wrong with your transmission.
The key switch next to your shifter allows you to shift to another gear when the engine is not running.
Since the ignition key is not starting the car (normally) you could try inserting your key in the shifter key port and turning it and moving the shift lever back and forth several times. The problem might be a sensor on your shift mechanism or transmission that is preventing the ignition switch from working, but I wouldn't hope for that being a solution to the problem.
Best you take the car to Honda or a trusted mechanic for help.
