Make sure you hear the wrrrrr of the fuel pump with the key in the run position. The pumps in the gas tank and I had to take everything out of the trunk and listen over the pump access hole in the back of the trunk. The pumps seem to only last 60000-70000 miles.
I hope this helps you.

These are high and low radiator fan relay codes. Yes those are very important sensors.

My 1998 Dodge Intrepid is starting & then stalling only after a few seconds. The engine light came on, & the code was P1391. Any ideas?

That code is indicating an intermittant crank shaft or cam shaft sensor fault. Because the engine is starting then stalling, check to see if you have spark after the stall. If spark is still present, you are probobley looking at a cam sensor circuit issue. The cam sensor controls the fuel injector pulse. If the cam sensor fails on a chrysler product, the fuel injectors will not function.

This Symptom (WITHOUT)> Check Engine Light on Is indicative of a FUEL PUMP INTERMITTEN Failure/FUES FILTER CLOGGING Problem, But (WITH Check Engine Light ILUMINATED)< The Vehicle Must Be Connected to A CODE/ Diagnostic Tool to Interpret What Code and Where the Problem IS Located. What does the p1391 code on a 99 dodge ram 1500 5.2l v8 meen

check engine light and code P1391 crank or cam position sensor

The above can cause rough idle on the Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L V8 Engine.

Can try to replace the sensor, but verify that the wires are ok first.

99 dodge stratus dies while driving

Were the plugs covered in oil? With the plugs that go through the valve cover you might need new seals. Did you replace the plug wires? You need to scan it for codes. It's most likely a missfire, but it could be a bad speed sensor (also called, VSS vehicle speed sensor, cam position sensor,or crank position sensor).

Vehicle Stalls

you should have engine light on and engine codes
if its the cam or crank sensors, shouldn't be the starter i would start with the ingition switch.

Vehicle stalls sometimes

could be either the cam sensor or crank sensor , but I would check the crank sensor first , this sensor will not cause a check engine light either
