I have a 1994 Buick Park Avenue and one of the sensors up top are going out what are the names of the three up top. My car will sometimes will turn over but won't crank and then sometimes it be just fine. But we can hear that one of the sensors are goin bad

It doesn't sound like a sensor problem, but an ignition problem on the colum.

I have a 94 buick park avenue ultra for 3 yrs. and it started stalling out. Going on line, some people replaced most sensors and gas filter. My problem was vacuum lines that were shot and one, going yo the fuel pressure regulator wasn't connected, which was the main problem.

Open the hood

Find the "hood spring", sticking up from the frame in front of you

The sensor is located almost directly below that spring, about two feet down on a bracket that runs vertically from the bottom of the frame where the spring is mounted.

It's easy to replace, with a simple connector and a couple screws.

You may have a bad ground (check a wiring diagram for where these are--the Haynes manual has good diagrams). Or, the throttle position sensor (TPS) is faulty, and should be replaced.

Clean the battery cables. The cam sensor magnet on the timing gear is most likely defective. This would require the timing cover to be removed to fix.
