The 04-08 MY Ford trucks, the fuses that are used with Manual climate control ( XL, XTL, FX non Lux )
F102
F14
F116
F13
F5
F116 is the fuse that feeds the blower motor relay ( also something to check ).
All of this is controlled by the Electronic Manual Temp control panel ( EMTC, not the BSM./VSM. BCM is a GM term, Ford does not have this type item in the 04-08 MY ) in the dash.
The Electronic Auto Temp Control ( EATC, Lariat, FX4-Lux ) are :
F102
F14
F116
F13
F5
F116 feeds the blower motor relay.
This system is controlled by the EATC panel.

No fuse. Newer vehicles have BCM Body Control Modules. Everything is computer controlled. Take it to a shop.

SOURCE: 89 escort my heater works

HI!!
Your problem could be the fuse, the circuit uses a 30A fuse, if you use any lesser amperage fuse, it will blow out. If the fuse is OK, then your problem is the Blower Motor Resistor $27, it is located in the blower motor housing and it is the part where the blower motor and the electrical plug connect. To remove it, unplug the two connectors and remove the two fastening screws. Here is a picture of the actual Resistor for easier identification. RESISTOR'S FRONT VIEW d2f2d13.jpg
SIDE VIEW OF THE RESISTOR, LEFT PART GOES INTO BLOWER HOUSING, RIGHT PART IS FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. 746c398.jpg

HEATER NOT WORKING ON 03 YUKON

Heater not working ???? Blower motor not working , no air blowing out of the vent's. defrost , floor ? I'm assuming you have the manual HVAC - climate control system , by the fact that you replaced the resistor assembly . Was there a relay included on the resistor assembly ? What fuse's did you replace ? HTR/AC - 30 amp. left I/P fuse box , BLOWER fuse -40 amp - under hood fuse box ? Did you use a DMM - digital multi-meter an test for B+ voltage at the purple wire at the blower motor ? The fuse's you replaced ,check for B+ voltage with meter .
Your vehicle could have two different HVAC systems , manual & automatic. The automatic system doesn't have a resistor assembly , has a blower motor control processor. Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's ?

Have a 2013 Edge, purchased this year w/o/ manual and heater not working. Went to check fuses and no way to find one for heater, need fuse map or fuse #'s for heater

Heater not working ??? blower motor not moving any air in the system !
Blower motor relay located in the under hood fuse / relay box. Fuse F18 -40 amp - fuse F93 5 amp under hood fuse box . Also has blower motor speed controller that is controlled by the HVAC module . This problem is probably from a bad speed control module . Want to view the wiring diagrams ? Free here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make ,model an engine size . Under system click on HVAC then under subsystem HVAC controls . Click the search button then the blue link .

I have a 1988 735i and smoke came out the inside vents recently.....fan barely works. Any suggestions??

If it smells sweet -it is coolant

If it just was brief & white is was refrigerant

If the blower works it is not a fuse

The blower motor may be old & worn out & need
replacing & you may have a leaking heater core

Good Luck under the dash

Look at some You Tube Video on R&R of
a heater core

Heater blower

There are 2 fuses for the blower. They are in the fuse box on the right side of the dash, bottom row of fuses, second from the left is a 20 amp fuse and that is low blower, the second is also bottom row of fuses, fourth from the right, and it's a 25 amp fuse and that's high blower. Hope that helps.
