The front suspension needs a lot of work. There is a lot of noises coming from the front end. My understanding is that this is common for a cobalt.

brakes and rotors will not cause noise unless they are badly worn and this will be evident on inspection
most noise will be from rubber suspension bushes and sway bar and shocky rubbers
I would suggest that you get quotes from suspension accredited shops and have each shop show you what is worn and what is ok
ON good roads ( hard surface) suspension units should last 60.000 miles before requiring repairs ( barring road damage)

It make a noise every time i hit a bump or drive in a bumpy road

It is possible that the fault can be due to the suspension or the dampers.
So you need to check all the suspension parts , check the action of the dampers to confirm this fault. Rigid suspension can cause this noise and it needs to be confirmed only after the parts is examined closely. Also you can check the strut and fittings, the steerring and also look out for loose ends.

Front suspension noise-dull rattle-thumping sound,bumpy roads

look at the front lower engine mount. I had similar noise which has been driving me nuts, thought may be thesway bar links, put it on friends hoist and saw that the front engine mount (mounted to bottom of lower radiator support) was cracked and the rubber bushing inside very worn with pieces missing. odd thing is that reving, or putting into gear never caused it to make a noise, just certain bumps. I ordered part from Autozone, hopefully it gets here before the holiday week end is over.
Good luck

Front end noise going over bumpy road; was a program car, within a few months needed the "right idler arm". Has 80,000 miles. you can hear noise going over bumpy roads. My husband doesn't hear it, so I...

Hello emaci.
There are several items that can create a clunk.
Struts and mounts, broken coil springs, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links and bushings and control arm bushings.
The most common problem I see in my shop on these cars are sway links and control arm bushings.
I would suggest you take it to a competent front end shop and get it checked over.
I hope this helps you.
Take care........KL

Since the ride is still OK, I would hold off on the strut replacement, but I would try some silicon spray for rubber on the suspension rubber parts (and strut assy) and try to stop the squeaking that way. Hope this helps because I would have guessed brake noise before strut noise.

Right front suspension loose / crashing noise

Would recommend having the front struts and strut mounts looked at, over time the struts and strut mounts wear out, causing the front supension to develop noise whe going over even the slightest of road deformities. Hope this helps
