Turn the radio off, then press the set button, and I believe it's the scan for the hour, and the seek for the minute.

Well if its a stock GM radio it may have a HR and MIN button , or you hold the button that says SET and using the TUNE /SCAN button set the hrs and minutes. up or down

1996 Jimmy brake light fuse keeps blowing even when you open the door any suggestions?

CHECK YOUR CIGARETTE LIGHTER FOR FOREIGN OBJECTS, (COINS, PAPERCLIPS) MOST GMC OF THAT YEAR HAVE LIGHTERS THAT SHORT OUT. ALSO TRY DISCONNECTING THEM. DOME LAMPS, CIGARETTE LIGHTERS, VANITY MIRRORS, STOP LAMPS ARE ON THE SAME CIRCUIT. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.

Power window switchs on 1996 gmc jimmy

Inspect or replace the window lock and unlock switch on the drivers door power window switch. There is a lock and unlock switch that will disable the switches to the other power window in the Jimmy. Check to make sure that switch is in the unlock position to have the other power window switch to work.
Thank you for suing fixya and good luck.
