I have a napa fuel filter I took off and wanted to

Vehicle year is futher below. They didn't have my year in the dropdown list.
I have a napa fuel filter I took off and wanted to get a new one and discovered all the parts stores only have filters half the height of the old one. The number on the side of the filter says :NAPA 326631197G1
I'm in a fix if nobody has it.

I looked it up on the napa parts number search and they don't even have.
The old filter is 2 1/2 high.
My vehicle is:
1986 ford e-150 clubwagon
302 (5.0 liter) V8
Thanks
Charles

There are only three things that really matter on a filter.1 thread pattern.2 seat size this is where the o-ring is. 3 microns, this relates to how small of a particle it will filter out of the oil. try wix.com

Where is the fuel filter for a mitsubishi glx year 2010 plesse

Hello, there is no fuel filter on this vehicle like most older vehicles have. Inside your fuel tank where the fuel pump is there should be a strainer before the pump. In order to change you would have to drop the tank. Hope this helps you.

Thanks

Well all FI bronco 2's with the 2.9 in them were originally setup with a low pressure pump in the tank and a high pressure pump located under the drivers door just in front of the fuel canister that you spoke of. you can get the high pressure pump at a parts store my father got his at autozone, he also purchased the new fuel filter for the canister at napa.. fuel pump high pressure at autozone part# E2000- airtex master pump

Need to find location of fuel filter for 2002 Ford Explorer 4D, 4WD, 4.61 litre V8, XLT

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Quick release tool (Avail from most Napa auto parts stores)
  • Eye protection
  1. Step 1 Ensure your vehicle has had time to cool down since the last time it was driven. The engine block should be cool to the touch.
  2. Step 2 Remove the gas cap from your Ford Explorer and locate the Schrader valve attached to the vehicle's fuel line.
  3. Step 3 Don eye protection and depress the Schrader valve until no more gas and air comes out.
  4. Step 4 Locate the fuel filter. Your fuel filter will be located underneath the edge of the vehicle on the driver's side. There may be a plastic cover covering the filter. If so, unbolt it and remove it.
  5. Step 5 Take the safety clips off of the ends of the filter. Then, use a "quick release" tool to remove the fuel lines that are attached to the filter.
  6. Step 6 Connect your new filter to the fuel lines using the quick release tool to clamp the lines to each end of the filter.
  7. Step 7 Reinstall the safety clips on the new fuel filter by clamping them on each end of the filter.
  8. Step 8 Start your Ford Explorer and run at idle for five minutes. Visually verify underneath the body of the vehicle that there are no leaks from the fuel filter

Does a 2004 have a non servicable fuel filter?

according to the repair guide at autozone.com, there is a filter listed and the guide states that if there is a fuel tank shield, it must be removed to access the filter. autozone.com has the procedure for replacing the filter as well as many other maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. register and enter you vehicle info to access.

Where is the fuel pump and fuel filter at

The fuel pump and strainer are located inside the fuel tank.

There are three possible locations for this component due to different production dates/locations: under hood, passenger side, rear engine area, below firewall, mounted in fuel line or under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, mounted on frame in fuel line or under vehicle, driver side, below rear seating area, mounted on frame in fuel line

Easiest method to find, follow the fuel pump lines from the tank forward, you'll find the filter.

If you change the filter, it's not a bad idea to put a little Gumout fuel injector cleaner directly into that new filter, about 1/2 full before reinstalling, that will give your injectors a quick clean. It can cause a short sputter or two but I've never seen it cause a problem and it does help clean the fuel system quickly.

You'll also want to remember to turn the key on for 3 seconds, off for 3 seconds, alternating until the fuel pressure builds before trying to start the vehicle, after repairs are made to either the pump or the filter.

Use caution when removing lines, pressure and flammable !

Good Luck

How to change 2001 Hyundai Elantra GLS 4-Door Sedan Fuel Filter

If the filter is not at the tank, under the access panel, under the rear seat, then it is inside the tank.

Fuel delivery problem

Was the pressure relief valve checked?Try crimping without damaging the fuel return line ,Get somebody to try to start the vehicle while you do this, if it trys to start either the pump has failed again or the fuel is bypassing and being returned to the fuel tank. How long before replacement of pump and breakdown? Did they tell you what pressure it was supposed to be at.I have seen an ignition module give very similar symptoms.

Check Engine light.

Sounds like a bad computer. You may want to have a auto repair shop plug that in and see what they get for codes. If it still won't comunicate then it will need a computer first. That car may have obd1 communications and the parts store obd2 reader won't read it " Link error" see where I'm going with this? That year vehicle could go either way with the communications. Let me know if you need more info and I will try to help you futher. Thanks Dan
