1 Answer

I have a 1990 ford van e-150 and the blower motor for the heater doesnt work. I would like to know if it can be bench tested to make sure that it doesnt work before i buy a new one. Ive already replaced the switch and all fuses so i know it isnt either of them

Unplug the connector black wire to negative, orange wire to positive. If it works replace the blower resistor.

We have a 1990 Ford aerostar minivan and the blower motor isn't working. I don't know where the resistor is or where the blower motor is located. Anyone know?

Blower motor is in dashboard. Problem could be with motor windings, bearings, fuse, relay, and switch. Check them all out.

1984 Ford f150, HEATER PROBLEMS!!

Check to make sure the motor is grounded, runa seperate ground if necessary back to battery. If there is power to it, and the motor is new, chances are it is a ground problem. Also check to make sure the blower fan isnt pushed on too far or is hanging up and stalling the motor.
