Question about 1988 Ford Mustang
Remove engine. Remove oil pan. Remove oil pump.

You have to remove the oil pan, if the cross member is in the way loosen up the motor mounts and jack up the engine to removed the oil pan. Then remove oil pickup, then remove the two bolts that hold the oil pump on. Clean all gasket the surfaces, use new gaskets and sealer and reinstall. Good luck.
