The most likely cause of this is a clogged fuel filter. If you almost ran on empty and then filled up it kicks up sediment in the tank that gets sucked up in the pump and then clogs the filter. If you are really unlucky, but unlikely would be a clog in the fuel injectors. You will need to pull the filter off and replace it.

The Kia Has a Pocket Of Air Space When your Pushing Gas In On A refueling Take it Slow Add you gas at a lower speed on fill ups or say 20 bucks worth at a time it wont over flow with the air back lash if you slow down that was my experience With mine the inlet hose to the tank has always trapped air from internal pressure built up by gasoline in the tank during warmer weather it will be more, The Gas Cap Is Supposed to Vent Also You might want to check yours out

check the fuel injector that may be plugged allowing fuel not to enter as fast as it should at low speeds

Shuts off while driving but starts up

Sounds like it's not getting fuel. Check fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If low, make sure the pump is running. If the pump is running, but no pressure at the rail, check fuel, filter. Get back to us with result of these checks.

I have a 1995 pathfinder that keeps stalling on me when I start slowing down

Mine did the same thing. We cleaned the throttle body and poured Sea Foam, a gas treatment, in the gas tank... also check the air filter while you are at it. worked for me.

1995 gmc jimmy-won't accelerate wants to stall

could be the fuel pump ...you will need to do a fuel pressure test on it ..the pressure should be 63 anything lower even so much as a few lbs will cause this to happen ...as well if it sat that long i would consider a complete tune up and check all vacuum lines for dry-rot

Vam stalling

there are too many reasons...

it could be fuel pump,, it could be ignition coil overheating, it could be the computer itself...

you need two things for the engine to run,

1 is gas
2nd is ignition,,

with these two misfiring or your loosing one of them, it will stall...

i hope i was able to give you some thoughts....
