What year, make, and model is this vehicle?

Sorry, the model information did not show up on the first page for some reason.

The lighting for your cluster is provided through the body control module. If you do not have any other complaints from say the windows, etc, then your power issue is not likely fuse related.

The IPM fuse module is the only fuse box on that vehicle.

Considering that all lights are out now and you could not verify they were working after repair, I would suspect a loose connection from when the cluster was reinstalled.

Why does only half my spedometer light up

One or more of the illumination bulbs in the cluster may have burnt out. There aren't many, maybe only 3 or 4, so if just one burns out, you won't get much illumination.
You have to get to the back of the cluster to replace them. The hard part is removing the cluster, lots of trim pieces to remove first, then pull the cluster out a little to disconnect the electrical connectors. Then the bulbs are easy to replace-parts stores sell them.

How to fix the light in the instrumental panel on my 1999 ford tauras

Most auto instrument panels are back-lit with a light bulbs, that just twist in/out. They are very simple to replace, its getting to the instrument cluster that can be the bear. Look on-line on how to remove your instrument cluster and get to your bulb and you can get it fixed. I would say on a 1 to 10 difficulty scale its probably a 4.5, if you did it yourself. Good Luck

My dash lights sometimes will not work at night on my 2007 tahoe , the odometer light and shifter light work as well as doors , ac , radio , the instrument cluster is not back lit. It will sometimes work...

{: ) I supposed you have checked the fuses at the IP fuseblock and tried adjusting the dimmer knobs back and forth. You can also try to check the cluster connector behind ( although not likely to be the cause). If the illuminations or backlighting works fine on other areas except the cluster, and gauges functions are fine, you will need to replace IPC (cluster) and program. Actually there is a GM bulletin for this kind of concern for the 2007 IPC poor backlighting. The IPC should be replaced with a 2008 hardware/software.

At night I can't see how much fuel I have because my fuel indicator light doesn't work. All other instrument panel lights work. How can I fix it?

You will have to removed the instrument cluster and replace the bulb behind it which just turns in and out there will be a few screws to get the cluster out.

My Spedometer and Tacometer have stopped functioning.

Sounds like a ground problem.Questions:
1) Do you have electrical or electronic troubleshooting skills and tools?
2) Can you read schematics?
3) Are you comfortable removing instrument cluster and working behind dashboard if necessary?

If all the above are true, then I might be able to hook you up with the help you need. However, it might be too much to post here.
