My Grandam with only 50,000 miles wont start..It wont even try..When I turn the key, all the lights and the radio turn on, but it wont start..No pump turns on, NOTHING..I just had a battery put in around this time last year..
My husband tried jump starting it and that didnt even work..I do have a speaker and amp hooked up to it, but half the time, they dont even turn on when I listen to the radio, so I dont think they have anything to do w/it..
If you are not hearing the pump turn on there's a good chance that its the fuel pump most gm's have a faulty wiring on the fuel pump harness id check the relay and wiring if theirs power to the pump but not crank that would be it id get a gm pump not a carter better to use oem

I had an 04, and all I did was place the key on the on position for 10 minutes then turn it to the off and then try to start it, friend of mine told me that it would reset the computer. it worked for me, it would start everytime
