2003 Pontiac Grandam wont start

My Grandam with only 50,000 miles wont start..It wont even try..When I turn the key, all the lights and the radio turn on, but it wont start..No pump turns on, NOTHING..I just had a battery put in around this time last year..

My husband tried jump starting it and that didnt even work..I do have a speaker and amp hooked up to it, but half the time, they dont even turn on when I listen to the radio, so I dont think they have anything to do w/it..

If you are not hearing the pump turn on there's a good chance that its the fuel pump most gm's have a faulty wiring on the fuel pump harness id check the relay and wiring if theirs power to the pump but not crank that would be it id get a gm pump not a carter better to use oem

Pontiac Montana 2003. Security, low fuel, and battery light are flashing. Full gauge not even coming on and radio won't work. Car won't start

Turn key on but do not attempt to start. Wait 10 minutes. Turn off. Then on. Make sure security light goes off before trying to start. Sounds like security system thinks vehicle is being stolen

My 2003 Pontiac Grandam will shut down while I'm driving and it has to do with the security system

The security system is called Passlock. And yes it will turn off the fuel injectors when it starts to fail. Go check out this link, should help inform you about how the system works along with some ways to get around it.

06 pontiac grand prix wont start no clicking when you turn the key over even jump starting the battery, has dash lights & radio & parking lights. battery tested good. put a used starter & altinator on

Used parts such as starters and altinators don't last. It might **** but it sounds like you need to buy a new starter, altinator, and battery. Or just start with buying one at a time.

Cranks over but will not start

Have you check the fuel filters? I had that similar happen with my 03 GrandAm the filter was plugged. Also the fuel pump was acting up so I had that replaced as well. How many miles on your car?

My pontiac grand am won't start and the starter goes like its gunna start but it won't turn over also the secerity lite is flashing, i need help it is the only car i have and i can't afford to buy a new...

Hi. I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Am. I've had that problem before. All I did was...whenever the security light would flash...and the car wouldn't start...I would take the key out...and just sit there and wait for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then the red light would stop flashing....and the car would start. That would happen about 2 times a year. Now I'm having trouble getting it to start. It's trying to...but won't turn over. My mechanic put a new computer....but now he doesn't know what is wrong. Please help. Thanks.

Wont start

make sure transmission is in park.

slide a stick or twig up underneath the steering column which will hold a specialized switch in place. Try the ignition. Should it start, the actual problem in the transmission interlock switch for the transmission [located in the center console] which also protects the ignition from turning on [secondary switch prior to the ignition switch]. What a ***** to have found... took me 8 hours but GM wanted 800$ for the fix.
