Question about 1996 Chevrolet K1500
It may not be the starter just the soliniond but if it is clciking it means there is power tothe starter but it's not turning over. the soliniond on the starter has a disk inside it at one end the disk wears out, or gets burnt but can be pulled off and reversed andthe contacts can be filed on the disk and resued. So it's up to you. It could also be that the starter bolts are loose or the ground or positive cable is dirty and needs to be cleaned. try this first.
