2001 Chevy 2500HD Fog light lens fell off somewhere

Also not paying for a whole new light, hell it still works, just would like a lens cover to silicone seal on for looks, rarely use these lights anyway. Does anyone know where I can get a lens cover to fit, thinking of just getting a larger lens and grinding it to fit!

You can buy a lens at Jc whitney catalog on line or you can go to any glass shop and they can cut you one for about $30.00 Price depends where you live.

How to replace aFog light lens that fell off on mitsubichi outlander?

i would say you have two options, purchase a new fog lamp(s), or you could use JB weld epoxy for plastic(you can find in any auto store) and once it fully cures there is virtually no chance of you ever taking the lens off(if you should ever need to , but i doubt it). just take fine grit sand paper to rough up the application area a bit, then mix epoxy and apply.

How do I remove the cover over the fog light to change the bulb. Cover is held in place by flat plugs? Do you pry them off? This is in the wheel well.

You change it from the front of the car.

To remove the fog light - firmly grasp the black plastic lens protector along the outer edges and twist it to the left (counter-clockwise) to remove it.
Now remove the two bolts just above the fog light - the whole thing comes out as an assembly. Then you can disconnect the socket from the back of the assembly

2001 jeep wrangler sport ,fog lights on, switch off

I have a simular problem. Only mine does not some on. I tried to replace the turn signal switch assembly with a used one. The replacement work ok on the fog lights but the rest was bad. As near as I can figure it, the switch assemble is not well made and had many ways to go bad. Either replace the whole assemble or wire in a bipass switch. I am going to go with a bipass switch. I don't trust the new jeep products.

The lens in the fog light of my 2002 chevy silverado 1500HD fell out. Can the lens be re-inserted? Suggestions on the removal of the fog light to replace the lens? ECR

I had the same problem, lens can not be re-insered, you have to buy a whole new assembly. About $125.00 each, they changed the adhesive on the replacement lens.

Chevy s10 brake lights

If the problem is that the brake lights will not turn off, the problem is most likely the CHMSL relay. An easy check is to take the cover off the fuse block mounted on the driver's side fender well and swap the fog lamp relay with the CHMSL relay. If that fixes it, just get a new relay for the fog lamps and you're good to go. Note, my 2002 s10 does not have fog lamps, but it still had the relay populated in the fuse block.
