Pretty simple actually. the inlet manefold is unbolted and the turbo hose disconnected and the inlet manifold is out of the way the 6 glow plugs can be easliy identifed under the injectors an are very easy to acses and remove.keep in mind you will need new gaskets for the refitting of the manifold or a tube of instend gasket works fine

Bmw 730d e65 code 4212, glow plug cylinder 1, activation .but all glow plugs changed to new. and computer shows the same problem

Try changing No1 glow plug with No 2 and see if the code changes, if it does you may well have a faulty new plug ( it happens frequently with the non genuine products )Regards Mike

1997 525tds dead bettery.cant open boot

There should be a positive connection under the hood that is normally used for jump starting the car. Use jumper cables to power that connection and an engine ground from another car. That will power the car's electronics so you can open the trunk (boot) and replace the battery.

I have a problem with my throttle potentiometer on my bmw E34 525tds. Can i repair it

Possibly but it's rather involved and depends on what exactly is wrong with it. There will be a calibrated voltage output from it at the closed throttle position and fully open position. Sometimes simply repositioning the sensor in it's mounting while connected to a multimeter until you're able to get the correct reading will "recalibrate" it, but then again, that is entirely dependent on what is wrong with it.
