Check top and bottom ball joints.
look for splits in rubber covers on the ball joints.
If in doubt that they may be faulty replace as they are not an expencive item.

Check the droplinks for the anti roll bar... some are like ball joints, and they can seize, which causes the symptoms you are getting.

Front end noise

Could be coming from a shock. Also some of those vehicles have a rubber bumper and if it is broken or missing, depending how bad the bumps are vehicle could be bottoming out....in ohter words you might not have a rubber bumper to absorb the bounce.

My 2004 F-150 2WD is making a clanking noise on front left tire

The sway bar linkage probably came undone on one of the sides. Wikipedia has a picture of what your sway bar linkage may look like:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sway_bar

That is a picture of a Porsche sway bar, but the idea is the same. Make sure all bolts are tight and that one end is not missing the linkage that connects it to the spring/strut. The grinding of the brakes may be the sound of the linkage piece touching the rotor. Sway bar is a logical solution to both issues.

If that doesn't fix the issue, put the front end of the truck on blocks or jack stands and have somebody wiggle the tire up/down and side to side while you inspect the mechanical components underneath. Other things to check may be the ball joints, tie rod ends and suspension bits.

The front of my car feels like its going to fall apart, makes a horriable clicking noise when i hit a bump or turn, car shakes, and i can feel viberation on the gas peddle when driving.

This sounds like a broken or loose motor mount. Has any work been done recently on the van? I am wondering if someone did not properly tighten or attach an engine or transmission mount. Turning or hitting a bump could cause the engine to shift if not secured at the mounts, resulting in the symptoms you describe. Carefully check around the fan at the front of the van (off, NOT running) for evidence of contact being made with the fan shroud or anything else nearby. The noise you hear could be the fan making contact with something when the motor moves when turning or going over a bump. The other possibility would be a bad axle, but that is usually evident when turning, not going over a bump. Have this checked asap, as it sounds like it is dangerous to drive, and can cause more damage if not repaired. Let me know what you find. Good luck.

Clanking like sound in the front end that sounds like either the drive shaft or the gears in the transfer case? Hard to hear unless pulling in the garage where the sound bonces off the walls. The clank...

First of all you need to be more specific-- Is this a car, truck,or whatever. Is it front wheel drive? Is it four wheel drive? (Sounds like a four wheel drive) Basically we need to know exactly what type of vehicle you have. As far as the noise you hear, it could be any number of things-- such as bearings. cv joints, universal joints, and so on. Once we know what vehicle you have It will definately help us narrow down the problem. Ed

The clanking sound is turn relay operation sound , try to turn the car without
