Yes ...but its very corrosive and not meant to last long with aluminum wheels. if you have a warranty on the tire most places will patch or plug it for free.

Testimonial: "Thanks Bought it used so no warranty. I'll check if it can be plugged and if not keep adding air and save up for tires. "

Reset tire

If you mean the TPMS tire pressure monitoring system dashboard light, make sure the tire pressure is set according to the decal on the drives door. If that's ok, have a tire store calibrate your tire sensors. If that doesn't help the sensors themselves need to be replaced. The battery in the sensors have a limited lifespan which is the down side to the system. I had to have mine reset after a tire went flat. If it only leaks a little (normal leakage) it seems to clear if you air it up to spec before it gets too low.

My wish is that the dash told which tire was low and would go red if it got below half it's recommended tire pressure. I freak if it comes on at all since I don't know if it's just a pound low or totally flat! Car manufacturers need to improve this system greatly!

I have a 2006 VW Passat and the Low Tire Pressure light came on. I put air on the tires and the light went off but it came back on the next day.

Check the tire pressure again, including the spare. It's quite possible that you have a tire with a slow leak that may need to be repaired. Hope this helps.

A service light came on, and I am not sure what it stands for it kind of looks like this (!)

this is your low tire pressure indicator light , it means one of you tires air pressure is lower than it should be , check you tire pressure on all tires and inflate as needed once they are correct than the light will go out , keep an eye on the tire that was low , you may have a slow leak

Low air tire warning still on after new tires.

Push the Setup button three times, until your driver display says something like "Press Reset for system check".
Then push Reset. The system check will start, rotating through a series of checks.
About the fifth or sixth check will be the tire pressure. It'll say something like "Hold Reset if tires are OK". While that's up, hold the Reset button. After 3 or 4 seconds, the tire warning light will click off. You need to be ready for it, because you don't get very long.

Flat Tire Monitor

well it could be a slow leak in your tire however it can also be because of the temperature change.I have seen many of times that tpms lights have come on and only 1 tire would be low.It only takes aproximately 3 pounds of difference in tire pressure to set the light on.You may also check your spare tire also they have sensors too.

How do I reset the low tire warning message/light?

With the 2005 Monterey, you need to activate the system check by pushing one of the command buttons on the lower dash right of steering wheel. Have it do a system check where it will cycle through the various things that it monitors (i.e. door, lighting brake lights, ect.). It will come to the tire pressure and ask if you want to reset it, simply push and hold the reset button and the light will/should go off.

Tire pressure light remains on.

We took it back to the dealer. They made the necessary adjustments needed after the winter tires +rims were put on.

That is the tire pressure monitoring light. Simply air up your tires and it will turn off. If it comes back on then you may have a slow leak.
