2015 carens, its either front windscreen demisting OR car heating, but I need both. How to fix?

If you set the temperature to a high temperature when demisting, it should still provide heated air, just not through the dash vents aimed at you. Is that not sufficient? Does your car has seat heaters?

My demisters not fully working

That's because the heater elements in the screen have become scratched. Either from loading something sharp against them or from carrying a pet in the back. You can purchase a repair paint to touch up any broken areas. Something like this product:

The heater makes a clicking noise when turned to screen clear windscreen will not demist.

possibly faulty defroster flap actuator motor or broken wheel or link inside the heater housing, if you get to the Mercedes workshop they can easily find what's the wrong by diagnose CPU otherwise need to open dash and remove heater housing then need to open and have a look what's the wrong one by one, best way get it for diagnose by expert. is this information helped you?

2006 x type saloon demist function does not work floor and other outlets o.k

the demist function should be for the windscreen. the a/c should kick on and put out heat at the dash vents. the combination between the a/c and the heat allows the system to evaporate any moisture in the air allowing it to warm you and evaporate any moisture on the windscreen, and anywhere else they may have it duct to so that vision is not impaired. enjoy!

may be just a cable adjustment.

SECTION 412-01: Air Distribution and Filtering 2001 Focus Workshop Manual DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION Air Distribution and Filtering The new heating and ventilation system ensures even air distribution.
The temperature control and air distribution flaps are controlled by two operating cables. All vehicles have a recirculated air function, with the flap controlled by a servo motor.
Air is supplied to the windscreen and side windows regardless of the air distribution setting.
The clean air filter is fitted as standard in most countries. This cleans the incoming fresh air of pollen and dirt particles. It must be renewed after every 40,000 km under normal operation conditions, or after 20,000 km under difficult conditions. If no clean air filter is installed, a plastic grille is fitted over the air intake. This can easily be replaced with a clean air filter.

Face level/floor level The main flow of air enters the passenger compartment in equal parts at face level and floor level, and a small amount flows to the demister nozzles of the side windows.
Floor level The main flow of air enters the passenger compartment at floor level, and a smaller amount flows to the demister nozzles of the side windows.

NOTE: The Bowden cables for LHD and RHD vehicles are identical. However, they are fastened to the air flap operating mechanism with the respective reverse side of their connectors.
The air distribution switch operates with two Bowden cables. The cables operate the air distribution valves in the heater housing.
To remove and install the cables, the rotary switch must be turned as far as it will go to the left. The air flap mechanism engages easily in this position, making the installation of the cables easier.

Have you taken the dash apart and checked the cable on the switch? Or tested the switch if it's electronic?
