You can go to auto & find the the trouble code chart for the obd1 & obd2 scan tools. it's a great site, u can even request a section out of any car manual for them to send u. they do take donations, even if its only $3 but u do not have to send it. they will still e-mail the repair info u need. but the trouble code chart is instantly available.

My 2011 iload Diesel Turbo Auto is having a stalling issue.

same problem indicated on an isuzu diesel that turned out to be problem injector causing the ECM to shut down and then allow a restart-- no codes shown and the service center was stumped until a diesel repair shop checked it out and found an injector control was faulty

How spark plug gap Chevy caprice 1989 V8 motor. Set idle up - too slow - stalling out.

Spark plug gap will usually not cause the engine to stall out. This vehicle should be fuel injected. The idle is controlled by the computer. How did you set it up? Have you scanned the computer for trouble codes to point you in the right direction? Check for vacuum leaks.

I have a 1996 escort diesel turbo wagon.key was stolen ,had new 1 made for has an can I get around this problem. Code for radio programed,red light by clock flashing still

You need to get the key chip code loaded into the car immobiliser
If you don't have a genuine key you will need to get one and have it cut and coded to the car
Last key I had to get was £156 total for key chip cutting and coding to car 3 years ago

Suzuki Wagon R 2004. I HAVE NO SPARK AND FUEL With ignition lights on dash, it will crank over but there is no spark at the plugs and no fuel being pumped. Can anyone shed some light...checked all fus

great post. lots of meaty facts ,unlike most here.
2004 is EFI ?right? (some countries have carb up to 2006) shock?
rules 1, EFI, the ECU (PCM) cuts fuel any time it THINKS, spark is bad. (sees it bad it does)
so in view of these important fact spark is first, and rule 2, fuel cant burn with out spark (otto cycle engines)
key fact 2 you said PLUGS, implying all spark pugs are dead on unstated engine sizes.
we are a Calif (usa ) site and we dont have this car on this side of the pond (Atlantic) you in UK? wild guess......

our cars in USA all have OBD2 PCMs (laws)
and all work with any scan tool (can-bus min)
so we do this, (yours might be EOBD (E for europe?)
plug in tool to OBD2 port near knees. called a DLC
key on, see CEL glow in dash, no. then fuses are blown.
i turn on tool if the tool will no communicate pin 16 on your DLC is dead, fuse blown in car.
ok it comms...

i crank for 5 seconds,
the PCM sees all errors in this time frame.
bad CMP, or CKP or shows bad spark with
P03xx codes, tells you what fails.
as does live data stream with zero RPM cranking.

the PCM will dectect 1 in 10 pulse drops outs. of all critical sensors
note not one guess here, cept your unstated country.

how is that. good, need more info, then post what you have under miss bonnet.

The answer is... Yes you can... All it requires is patience and skills. You'd need to squeeze the engine in your car. This might require you to cut some chassis parts in your engine bay just to accommodate such big and powerful engine. Best wishes with the engine swap buddy.

On a Vehicle this Age..there is a good chance the Catalytic converter is clogged..there only one way to eliminate this..cut it out..if the car starts..then im your Guy..if not..weld it back..and make sure the Gas is pure(no water) then proceed to check all ingnition components..its a little more work..but thats the cheapest route...I worked for me..Good luck..

Car stalls while slowing or stopping

I've had vehicles that have done this in the past. In the meantime, try to get used to using two feet at the same time (one on the gas and one on the break) to keep the RPMs up while slowing down. It's just a temporary fix, and not recommended that you continue to drive like that.

When you have a chance, get a mechanic to adjust the timing 'UP' a tad so it won't stall out.

If the vehicle is at a timing where it SHOULD be, then raising it to fix this problem will also be temporary until the problem can be diagnosed fully.

After all, however, it is an old cheapy right? These are just quick fixes.
