No not yet i wouldn't change the computr. check to see if there is voltage pos. at one or more of the injector lugs! if not then there is a fuse for them tht may be bad. first check fuse near battery it is in and black plastic cover boted to thefender if it istill mounted and someone didn't nbolt it. then ifthat 25 amp fuse is good checktheones under the dashand also a signif tht fuse nearthe fender is good or not is if the fuel pump is kicking onand the check engine ight work when the key is inthe on position. let me know if you have juice there atthe injectors and if so then iwould check the wire from thecomputer toinjectors if good then iwould say the computerisbad. but let me know and wecanwotk through it.i hve three of these cars i love them. good luck

Is there power to injector wires?
1-If not then there is a problem with the injector module. 2-If yes then check out the oil pressure switch next to the distributor. ECM has to see at least 3 psi to allow start and it also shut down if less than 3 psi.

Your tachometer out of sync would make me check the ignition module. Its located inside the distributor. Autozones can test them. I had an intermitent poor running condition. While the vehicle was running smooth one day I noticed the Autometer tach jumping around which led me to replacing the ignition module thus fixing the issue.

Same answer for the original question. The ignition module send a signal to the ECM for the injector pulses. The injectors should have one hot wire with the key on and while the engine is cranking the other wire should be a pulsing ground signal (the hot on both sides may just be a back feed). The ECM in these does not monitor fuel pressure and they need more than 3 psi to start. If there is a ground signal to the injectors then test the fuel pressure. TPI should be about 45psi regulated.

Fitted cranksensor injector loom still not starting ?

You would put on a new crank sensor because the ignition system won't work, it gives no spark. So now do you have spark at a spark plug wire end? A blue consistent spark? Probably good ignition system, as long as all spark plugs get a spark.

One thing you always want to check with no start is the fuel pressure. Turning the key to on should turn the fuel pump on and put pressure in the fuel rail at the engine. Autozone and maybe others rent or loan fuel pressure gauges. Multi-port injection systems have high pressure specifications, around 40 psi normally. That is what the injectors require to spray out fuel when they pulse and open the nozzles.

With the injector circuit, the first thing to check is if each injector has power to it with the key in ON. One power wire and one ground wire goes to each injector. The power wire is from a fuse that is powered with key on or key in start, and then it is spliced to all of the injectors. The injector grounds all run into the engine computer, where the circuit can be internally grounded for a split second and cause the injector to pulse. But anytime the key is on, the injectors have steady voltage available to them.

The 5.0 tuned port engine has two sets of injectors - all injectors are powered by the pink-black wires from two 10amp injector fuses. They get ground signals on the green and blue wires from the computer.
You can use a low voltage test light to check for injector pulse.

Just re done top of motor. Everything together and I start it steam dumps out of the exhaust. I believe a water hose is wrong from the radiator somewhere. Need to know how to run the hoses. 89 iroc camaro...

Steam from the exhaust means, unfortunately, that coolant is entering the cylinders, and very little running like that will destroy the rings and pistons. It could be anything from an intake or head gasket leak to a cracked cylinder.
