Question about 2001 Ford F150 Styleside SuperCrew
On the pass side in the engine compartment on the fire wall you will see an electric motor. unplug the wire connecter and detactch the rubber tube from the main box.then remove the three retaining screws and pull out the motor and fan assembly,if it has cruise control you might find it easier to also remove the acuater from the fender.this is held in place by two 10 mm bolts.just lay it off to the side to give yourself more room

The blower motor resistor sit under the dash on the passenger side next to the blower motor, on the same housing, will have a 5 wire connector going to it, it is held on with two small screw's, it's not that hard of a job to do, auto repair shop's Mitchell labor guide to do this job is 6 tenth of an hour, you and your son will be ok.Have fun.
