I need the fireing order for a 1996 gmc suburbon with a vortec 5.7 and where is no1 no the cap?

Your firing order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 and no. 1 on the cap is the first one on drivers side of cap first one meaning the one closest to the front of vehicle and the motor end of it is the first on the drivers side and it goes front to back 1,3,5,7 on that side and on the passenger side front to back it is 2,4,6,8

Need the firing order from the distributor the plugs for a vortec 4.3 litre


1-6-5-4-3-2 , 2-4-6 pass. side of eng. , 1-3-5 driver side eng. , #1 on the cap is at the very front w/clockwise rotation. If it is the newer flat cap style, numbers are on the cap, front to back pass. side 2-4-6, 3-1-5 drivers side.

Hi there. I just did a tune up on my 95 Jimmy with the same motor. The firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 and the distributor rotation is clockwise. I hope this helps.
