Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

2006 chev hhr sounds like noise in front wheel bearings they all seem tight are the bearings replaceable or do I have to replace complete hub?

on most vehicles you can buy the bearing already pressed into hub. but call any auto parts store to find out if yours is. have a good day!!

When going over bumps frontend makes noises worse during cold weather coud it be the struts

Could be anything, do some google searching on it. My prepurchase research indicated that the model line is notorious for needing a front end rebuild every 10,000 miles, everything not just the struts. It is front end heavy and this is increased in braking.

I bought a Hyundai instead and while I am not wholly satisfied with it I am glad that I did not buy the HHR. I carpool in a 2010 HHR, it has yet to hit 20,000 miles and its front end clatters like a car with a hundred thousand on it.

Cluncking noise coming from the frontwheels

Have the suspension parts checked on your car, probably a leaking shock absorber or a faulty control arm.
