There are 3 10 mm srews holding the handle on
you will need to remove the door panel to access two of the screws, once the door panel is off look up and feel for the 10mm screws remove those two, unhook the door opening mechanisim, the third screw is located in the door jam there will be a black plug covering the access hole, once the screws are removed simple lift the hanlde out, if the handle has a key hole the is a simple clip holding the key mech. in place simpley swap to the new handle

Door handles and locks

you will have to take it apart to know for sure.
But chances are good that you will only have to replace the handles.
the cylinders should be ok as long as the key goes in and it works.

2002 Silverado outside Door Handle

yes. you should remove the inside door panel.

to do this, remove all the screws you can see. One in the door handle, one by the mirror, then remove window crank/buttons

the take a flathead screwdriver and CAREFULLY pry the panel off. it is best to pry where the plastic pins are holding the panel on.

reverse procedure to reinstall.

2000 Silverado Exterior Door Handle

If you have the panel off, just look up at were the outside door handle is mounted. You need to unbolt the rest of what is left....usually a metric fastner. Next, there should be 2 small access holes, probably covered by plastic sheeting. These holes are for the socket to reach them. There are a few clips that need to be popped loose from the rods but take your time and use a thin flat tipped screwdriver. And when you go to reinstall the new handle, you'll have to manipulate the handle into the door skin or the "hole" where the door handle goes.

Just take your time and you can do this.

Good luck!

Replacing interior door handle 1995 chev pick up

Just pull on the Bottom of the Panel and you will be Started. There are a Couple of Screws in the Top panel Like the Arm Rest and the Handle Housing. Got a 95' Silverado also. This happens from time to time. Start at the Bottom of the Door Panel and Loosen. Remove the Screws from the Top Panel. The Panel will Probably not come all the Way off so, You will need to work under it. That Handle is just Pinned. Once you get up to it Just remove the Pin. Buy some Replacement Plastic Clips for the Panel. You will need them!

How to replace inside door handle on 1996 Checvy Silverado?

This is VERY common on these Trucks. My 1995 Silverado has done it Several Times. First you are going to need Door Panel Clips to replace the Ones that you will Break taking off the Door Panel. Any Decent Auto Parts Store Carries them. VERY Straight Forward from there on. For the Exterior Handle-Remove All clips and Screws once inside the Door and Replace. Make sure to put the Rubber Seal on the New Handle or it will leak! For the Inside Handle- Remove the Pin connecting the Old handle and Replace with the New once you get the Door Panel off it is Really Easy from there on!

Interior door handle replacement 1992 honda accord

Do u mean the door latch, which u pull to open the door, or the plastic molded handle u grab to shut the door? If it's the latch, there are two small round plugs in the plastic area of the door lock and locking switch. Use a small flat end screwdriver to pry them out , exposing two philips head screws. If this isn't what u needed, let me know, I'll get more info for u. countrycurt0
