Sounds like its low on freon, see if the front of the compressor or any of the fittings or lines are oily,if so youve found your leak. time to take it to an A/C person & have them check it out. it may just need a little shot of freon, if it was totally empty your compressor wouldnt even come on.

I have a Ve commodore sidi and can't find the fuel pump relay. Book shows it at passengers footwell but it isn't there

Hi Joel If not in left side kick panel(early models).Normally above or below fuse remover clip.
Check left side of boot in rear electrical centre. Should be in hand book, should also be a picture in the fuse cover
If neither of these places may not have a relay it will be dependent on type of fuel system. You have not stated why you require to find fuel pump relay. Do you have a start or running issue?

Where is the cooling fan relay-there are several under hood in relay box but they're not labeled

You are correct the high speed relay is bad. The cover to the fuse box and owners manual should tell you the location

Bought a 1992 acura vigor and found horn fuse missing. when I replaced the fuse alarm goes off and constantly sounds. how do I stop it? I've read that there's a relay somewhere under the hood

horn relay located on the right side kick panel, you will see a row of relays,if horn relay is okay, more likely your horn control pad has a short inside causing horn button contacts to stick causing horn to keep blowing.

Bad relay. Bad fuel pump. You can go to the fuse/relay panel under the hood and swap relays with another one like the A/C relay and try it.
Then the pump may have gone. One common cause is driving with 1/4 or less tank of fuel. Fuel in the tank is very important now days as it keeps the pump thatis inside the tank cool.
Also if you turn the key and don't hear the pump, wait a few seconds before turning it again. If you turn the key off and on too fast the system does not respond that fast.

Under the hood, there should be a fuse block. Remove the cover and there will be a 20amp(i think) fuse that protects the fuel pump and starter circuit. I've run into this problem many times and every time it ends up being the starter that blows the fuse.

I would double check the connections on No,4 and 7 on the draw bar and then on the trailer board, and check for corrosion, changing relays shouldnt make any difference because you are going into the wiring loom and not the fuse box , also check for any scrapes kinks and wrangles in the cable,, just cause it aint obvious dont mean it aint broke.
Good Luck.
